The Cycling Team That Just Won't Stop Winning

UAE Team Emirates-XRG has done it again. For the fourth straight season, they've locked down the UCI World No.1 Team ranking. And they didn't just win—they dominated, racking up 78 victories across 2026. If you've been following pro cycling, you know this isn't luck. It's a machine. ### The Pogačar Effect Let's talk about Tadej Pogačar. The guy just claimed his fifth Tour de France title. Fifth. That's the kind of stuff that makes you wonder if he's even human. But here's the thing—it's not just him. Isaac Del Toro and Brandon McNulty stepped up in a big way this year, proving the team's depth is as impressive as its star power. ### More Than Just One Star What makes this team so special? It's the mix of experience and young talent. Pogačar leads the charge, but Del Toro and McNulty showed they can hold their own when it counts. That's a recipe for sustained success. And it's why they've been at the top for four years running. > "Winning never gets old, but doing it with this group of guys makes it even sweeter." – Tadej Pogačar ### What's Next? With the 2026 season wrapped up, the question is: can anyone catch them? Rivals are already plotting their moves, but UAE Team Emirates-XRG isn't resting on their laurels. They're already looking ahead to next season, hungry for more. So, what can we take away from all this? For one, consistency is key. It's not about one big win; it's about showing up day after day, race after race. And that's exactly what this team does. If you're a fan of cycling, you're witnessing history. If you're not, well, you might want to start paying attention. Because this team isn't just winning—they're redefining what it means to be the best. ### The Bottom Line UAE Team Emirates-XRG's fourth consecutive World No.1 ranking is a testament to their relentless pursuit of excellence. With Pogačar leading the way and young guns like Del Toro and McNulty rising, the future looks bright. But in sports, nothing is guaranteed. The only thing we know for sure is that they'll be the team to beat next season. And that's a challenge they seem more than ready to accept.
