If you're a frequent flyer, you know the drill: loyalty programs often feel like they give with one hand and take with the other. But every now and then, an offer comes along that actually makes you sit up and pay attention. Emirates Skywards, the loyalty program of Emirates and flydubai, is doing exactly that with a double miles promotion that could seriously boost your next trip. ### What's the Deal? From September 15 to September 30, 2026, Skywards members can register for the offer and book eligible Emirates or flydubai flights. If you travel by November 30, 2026, you'll earn 100% bonus Skywards Miles on top of the Miles you'd normally get. That's double miles, plain and simple. No gimmicks, no hidden fees, just more miles for your next adventure. ### Why This Matters for US Travelers If you're based in the United States, you might be thinking, "I don't fly Emirates or flydubai every day." Fair point. But here's the thing: Emirates has a strong network connecting major US cities like New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Houston to Dubai and beyond. And flydubai? It's a great way to hop around the Middle East, Africa, and parts of Asia once you're in the region. So if you've been eyeing a trip to Dubai, the Maldives, or even a safari in Kenya, this promo could stretch your miles further. Plus, Skywards Miles are incredibly flexible. You can use them for upgrades, award tickets, or even hotel stays and car rentals. Doubling up means you could reach your next reward faster than you thought possible. ### How to Make the Most of It First things first: you have to register for the offer. Don't skip this step. It's easy to do on the Emirates or flydubai website, but if you forget, you'll miss out on the bonus miles. Then, book your flight between September 15 and 30. Travel can happen anytime until November 30, 2026. That gives you a solid window to plan. - Register for the promotion on the Emirates Skywards page. - Book an eligible Emirates or flydubai flight between September 15 and 30, 2026. - Complete your travel by November 30, 2026. - Earn 100% bonus Skywards Miles on top of your usual miles. Pro tip: If you're flexible with dates, try to book a longer itinerary or a higher fare class. The more miles you'd normally earn, the more bonus miles you'll get. It's simple math. ### The Fine Print (Because There's Always One) Not all fares qualify. Usually, the cheapest economy tickets might not earn miles, or they might earn at a reduced rate. So before you book, check the fare conditions to make sure it's eligible for the promotion. Also, the bonus miles are typically credited after travel is completed, so don't expect them to show up in your account immediately. And remember, this offer is only valid for flights booked during the promotional period. If you booked your ticket in August, you're out of luck. But if you're planning a trip anyway, why not time your booking to take advantage? ### Final Thoughts Loyalty programs are always changing, and it's rare to see a straightforward double miles offer with a decent travel window. If you've got wanderlust and a few vacation days burning a hole in your pocket, this could be the nudge you need. Just don't forget to register, book by September 30, and travel by November 30. Your future self (sipping a drink in a lie-flat seat, perhaps) will thank you.
